Indications: Saxenda is prescribed for:

• Children aged 12-17 years with a body weight above 60 kg and obesity

Usage:

• Administered via subcutaneous injection once daily, at any time of day, with or without food.
• The starting dose is 0.6 mg daily, and it is gradually increased to 3 mg daily over a period of weeks to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.
