Depending on the time of exposure, different types of HIV tests are able to pick up HIV antigens/antibodies to the amount of HIV viral load in your system. Rapid HIV testing is able to determine your HIV results in 20 minutes.

HIV Testing
There are No HIV Tests available within 10 days after exposure to HIV. However, HIV PEP (Post-exposure prophylaxis) is effective to reduce the risk of HIV infection within 72 hours after potential HIV infection.
1. HIV Test: HIV PCR RNA Test (HIV Polymerase Chain Reaction PCR)
HIV PCR RNA test is to test for the presence of HIV virus in the system.
Time from Exposure - from 10 to 14 days
2. HIV Test: 4th Generation HIV test using p24 Ag (Result 20 mins)
Proved 99.9% overall clinical sensitivity for all sample types.
Fingerprick blood test that is recommended by UK guidelines in HIV test. This test is conclusive at 28 days after exposure. The p24 Ag is detectable as early as 14 days after exposure.

3. HIV Test: 3rd Generation HIV test (Result 20 mins)
99% accurate at 3 months post-exposure.

A viral load test measures how much human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is in the blood. Viral load is first measured when you are diagnosed with HIV.
